392. “My Colleague” Story

Q. I read a hilarious article in National Lampoon titled “My Colleague” about a guy studying for the bar exam. I recall it was from the late eighties or early nineties. Do you know which issue carried this story?

A. I don’t remember it, but amazingly it wasn’t as hard to find as I expected. It appeared in the October 1986 (“Back to School”) issue. It was written by Neil Tolkin and illustrated by Randy Jones.
