390. “Deerslayer” ATV Ad

Q. Do you remember an ad parody in National Lampoon for an ATV? I think the name of the vehicle was the Deerslayer. It was an ATV that bulldozed its own path through the forest and it may have had machine guns in front. My memory could be 100% wrong. It may not have been the Deerslayer and it might not have even been in National Lampoon. The memory plays tricks on me.

A. You remembered correctly. It was “ad” in the Sports Illustrated parody in the November 1973 (“Sports”) issue.
