Q: When I was a teenager, late seventies, I read a short story in National Lampoon with a title something like “my life as a practical joker” I would love to find it again to read. Do you know where I can find this?

A: That would be “My Life of Practical Joking” by Tod Carroll from the October 1979 (Comedy) issue.
